As a global jewelry brand, Ancardi is known for its stringent standards for gemstones—and often out-of-reach price tag. A nimble team within Ancardi’s Hong Kong office was determined to conceptualize an accessible offshoot. Enter: Wayfarren.

Our first course of action was creating a name. With fashion-conscious millennials in mind, we arrived at Wayfarren to suggest possibilities and adventure.

For brand elements, we wanted to communicate luxury with a twist of prep. A custom wordmark keeps the brand elevated, and the logomark brings softness to the letter W.

We kept the typography timeless so the jewelry products would pop. A custom pattern adds playfulness opportunities in packaging and brick-and-mortar storefronts.

In addition to devising the brand identity, we provided the Wayfarren team with photography creative direction. Elegant, energetic, and enduring, the Wayfarren team now has all the tools to bring this accessible brand to life.
