Lora is on a mission to change public discourse. With a successful fertility practice in Seattle and nearly 300k+ followers on TikTok, she needed a creative partner to take her personal brand to a new heights—and we were thrilled to help. We wanted a brand that spoke to Lora’s approachability, expertise, and mission to build community.
In our initial brand audit, we helped Lora articulate her brand in two sentences with sensitivity to her audience’s emotional states. Here’s where we arrived:
Brand sentence
I’m a fertility doctor, author, and speaker who shatters stigmas about miscarriages and fertility. You are not a diagnosis.
Followers are used to seeing Lora’s down-to-earth videos between procedures and appointments, so we wanted to get professional photos to capture her essence. We felt like it was important to show the person behind the content, so in addition to office images, we got photos of Lora at home—without the white doctor’s coat. The result is a well-rounded gallery of images that articulate who Lora is: a smart, grounded, and committed human being.
Pineapples have become a powerful symbol for the fertility community, and it was a natural fit for Lora’s brand identity. Complemented by a soothing color palette and professional photography, this brand is the perfect balance between calming, playful, and professional.
For her website, we intentionally designed an editorial destination to house Lora’s plentiful content. The entire site is searchable with content grouped under five key pillars: fertility, IVF, miscarriage, emotional wellness, and toxins. Our goal was to create an unmatched fertility resource, where visitors can easily find written and video content on specific topics with ease.
When Lora first approached us, YouTube was top of mind as a new content venture. With an effective brand and clear positioning, we helped (and still help!) Lora launch a YouTube channel, complete with weekly edited videos, eye-catching thumbnail designs, and keyword-driven publishing. Lora’s channel has only been in existence for a few months, and she’s already on her way to unlocking a new revenue stream on the platform—while fulfilling her mission of educating others.
Lora is living proof of social media’s ability to unite and inspire, and working with her has been an absolute dream. I admire her drive, kindness, and trust, and I’m so proud of what we’ve accomplished together. We’re thrilled to still be helping Lora with her content—podcast descriptions, YouTube video editing, blog post writing, and a weekly newsletter—and we’re all celebrating every milestone along the way. Watch this space—because at this rate, in the near future, Dr. Lora Shahine is going to become a household name.
