Kate Geagan is a quiet force behind incredible food companies. Committed to tackling climate change through food, Kate’s brought her genius to the likes of Clif Bar, Pompeian, Californian Almonds, and much much more. With environmental changes being more necessary than ever before, Kate needed a personal brand that clarified her mission, work, and impact.
With a home in Idaho, we created an artistic monogram of a huckleberry branch, which is the official fruit of Idaho. As part of our brand identity process, we created complementary lockups (including a wordmark) for maximum flexibility.
Kate’s work is unlike anything else out there, so a lot of work went into the positioning of her brand. During our kickoff brand audit consultation, we arrived at this brand sentence:

For colors, we created an elegant combination of vibrant earth tones. Instead of a traditional bright green—common for the brands of environmentalists and nutritionists—we selected a lush forest green.
Throughout the project, we were determined to demonstrate the elegant urgency of Kate’s work. Thanks to Kate’s openness and trust, we believe we achieved just that.
